Wally Meyer, president of Quivira Incorporated, provided updates during public comment at the Jan. 5 Lake Quivira council meeting, reporting that Q Inc.'s financial performance is approximately $500,000 higher than the same point last year. He said 72% of members voted on 2026 ballots and the measures passed individually by margins ranging from 62% to 87%.
Meyer also noted that AT&T fiber service is planned to go live at the end of February and that a representative attended the December Q Inc. board meeting and will be the ongoing point of contact for the project; he directed members to contact Quivira Incorporated for the AT&T representative's information.
