Staff presented an update to the Greenbush virtual‑seat policy and recommended clarifying eligibility criteria for the six district‑paid seats under the district's MOU with Greenbush. "At this point in time, we would like to recommend that those 6 seats that we have are for chronic long term illnesses or medically recommended, and then educational needs due to long term suspensions, expulsions per hearing outcome and discretion of administration," the staff member said. The board approved the policy as recommended.
Separately, staff introduced a drafted 504/supports handbook designed to align MTSS and 504 processes across buildings and make guidance available to parents on the district website. The board voted to approve the handbook and encouraged posting core materials online for parent access.
