Finance Director Terry Schnitzer said the city entered the agreement in December 2025 to update the indirect‑cost allocation plan that allocates utility, street and other enterprise reimbursements back to the general fund. Schnitzer said the original agreement was approximately $49,001 and, due to staffing shortages in the finance department, staff requested up to an additional $10,000 and an extension of the contract through Dec. 31, 2027 to complete the work and allow the city to use the plan for budgeting.
Council moved and adopted the resolution during the meeting; there was no public comment on the item. Schnitzer said that staffing is being filled and that an accounting manager was recently hired.
