Council to convene utilities committee after councilor warns of high water use

The mayor asked Janelle to present daily usage figures at that meeting so the council can assess conservation options and enforcement methods.
Council members discussed the first-year drought conditions and how local rivers and regional snowpack could affect supply; they agreed that staff should prepare specific ideas for the utilities committee to consider in the coming week.
