The La Cygne City Council voted 3-0 on Oct. 2 to approve Purchase Order No. 2024-16, authorizing $13,537 for a remote IO link for the intake structure (river pump). Council Member Thomas Capp moved the measure and Council Member Keith Stoker seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
City Clerk Jodi Wade presented the purchase order and Council approved it during the new-business section. The purchase was described in the motion as “approve Purchase Order No. 2024-16 in the amount of $13,537 for a remote IO link for the Intake Structure from Microcomm.” The council recorded the vote as passed 3-0 with Capp, Stoker and Council Member David Brenneman voting yes.
