Council reappoints Jonathan Mix to budget committee; Council President Tracy Mix abstains

City Manager Putner noted staff does not make appointments and provided the procedural details and term dates for the committee. Putner also told council there are currently multiple vacancies on the seven-member budget committee and that additional applicants would be considered next week.
The reappointment fills one committee seat but staff said two additional vacancies remain and that they received two additional applications inside the 24-hour filing window that will be considered at the next meeting.
