USD 422 board adopts a package of KASB-recommended policy updates

The Unified School District No. 422 Board of Education approved recommended policy updates from the Kansas Association of School Boards (KASB) at its Aug. 26 meeting. The motion to approve the following updates — BCBK, BCBK Sample Motions, CJ, CL, EBBG, EE, ID, IF, JBE, JGFGA, JH and KK — and to delete BBG was made by David Allison and seconded by J. Wynn Fleener; the motion carried 6–0.
Board members did not record further debate in the minutes. The updates were approved as presented and entered into the district’s policy manual.
