Council member Andrew reported the Public Works Committee met and discussed options for a Blue Cross Blue Shield pathway grant to build a sidewalk from The Manor up toward Jamboree; committee members conducted site visits and scheduled a follow-up Public Works meeting for June 1 at 4:00 p.m. to discuss planned routes and next steps.
“We had met last week, Public Works Committee and discussed the Blue Cross Blue Shield Pathway grants, for a sidewalk from The Manor up to approximately Jamboree,” Andrew said, describing site visits and planned route discussion. The committee asked staff to prepare maps and routes for the June 1 meeting so stakeholders can review the proposal in greater detail.
No funding amounts or final route decisions were recorded in the meeting; committee members said they will seek additional information at the scheduled June meeting.
