On eligibility, Kimble described a one‑week probation for students failing a class (allowed to practice but required to attend after‑school study hall) and a second week of continued failure would render the student ineligible for competition until grades are restored.
Board members asked about grade posting delays and teacher confirmation for removing students from the ineligibility list; Kimble said teachers must email to remove a student from probation. The board approved the handbook updates by motion and roll call.
