One member volunteered to stand guard at the bathroom area overnight to secure staging equipment and cones ahead of Saturday’s event.
Members agreed someone would pick up donuts and manage coolers early Saturday and that high-school volunteers would be credited with community service hours. The board also discussed contingency plans for vendor tents and weather and arranged to post the city event on social media and ask all board members to share the city’s official post to increase reach.
