ILMCO to continue town flag project; historical society centennial and entrance sign discussed; meeting adjourns

Andrew Whipple informed the Selectboard that the Isle La Motte Community Organization (ILMCO) will continue to maintain the town flag project in 2025 and will not seek Selectboard funding this year; the Selectboard thanked ILMCO for its efforts. The board also noted two planned 2025 events: the 100th anniversary of the Isle La Motte Historical Society and a rededication of Burying Yard Point. Barbara Callahan requested the town consider funding fabrication of a new island entrance sign at the causeway; estimates will be provided for the Selectboard to consider at the Jan. 22, 2025 meeting.
The meeting concluded at 9:10 PM after a motion to adjourn by Pat Treckman, seconded by Cary Sandvig; the motion passed with all in favor. No votes on budget items were recorded during this session.
