The Selectboard agreed to purchase a mobile phone for Town Office staff to handle long phone calls (such as training or vendor support) to keep the main phone number open, and to buy new phones with a hold function; the minutes note a second analog line would double monthly telephone charges. The board directed staff to identify budget lines to cover the expense.
Separately, the board will split Zoom meeting costs out from general telephone costs to comply with open meeting storage requirements; the Zoom account is currently over its allotted storage quota and is incurring monthly overage charges. Members said they will review recordings retained on the website and consider adjustments in the coming weeks.
