The Selectboard reviewed three bids for replacement Island entrance signage supplied by Barbara Callahan and adjusted the sign sizing to match the existing sign. The board indicated a preference for an acrylic sign and decided to include a second identical sign in the quote that could be placed at the Town Office and hold future identifying text.
Sylvia Jensen offered to donate stone for fabricating pillars or a planter to help offset project costs. The Selectboard directed staff to identify a budget line for the expense and to proceed with obtaining the revised quotes that include the second sign option.
