Selectboard schedules special Jan. 24 session to finalize 2025 budget

The Isle La Motte Selectboard scheduled a special budget meeting for Friday, Jan. 24 at 6:00 PM to ensure as much budget work as possible is completed before the proof report due Monday, Jan. 27. The board is using a reorganized 2025 budget spreadsheet and asked members to forward changes to Treasurer Mary LaBrecque or Assistant Treasurer Steve Mank.
Board members were told that RHR Smith will begin the on-site audit work Feb. 11 and that an audit letter is pending for inclusion in the Town Report. The Selectboard also asked Mary-Catherine Graziano to prepare the Selectboard Annual Report for circulation to members for comment prior to publication.
