Board signs off on business improvement grant application procedure

EDC approved the application form and procedural steps for the recently adopted Business Improvement Grant Guidelines so staff can accept applicants starting Oct. 1; the application is included in the board packet.
Following approval of the grant guidelines, the board separately considered the grant application and procedural materials included in the full packet. Kimberly said the application is procedural and would be consolidated into a single document; she asked applicants to complete contact information, plans and supporting documents so staff can evaluate requests.
A board member moved to approve the guideline application and the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The Chair noted the full application packet was provided to board members and staff will begin receiving consolidated application materials once the program opens.
