Trustees discussed next steps for the proposed ball-field project and whether the August meeting should consider drafting an RFP or outline the process to get to an RFP. Bill Cook and other trustees said they would like to cover the request-for-proposal approach and the scope of the RFP at the August meeting, scheduled for Aug. 18, and that they may form a subcommittee to draft the RFP.
Peter Most suggested trustees bring ideas to the August meeting about what they would like to see in the RFP and then appoint a subcommittee to draft it. No votes were taken; trustees agreed to include the ball-field project on the August agenda for further discussion.
