RHR Smith auditors to visit Isle La Motte Feb. 11; initial report expected within 10 business days

The town announced that auditors from RHR Smith will be on site at Isle La Motte on Feb. 11, 2025 to carry out the in-person portion of the annual audit. The Selectboard was told an initial general report should be available within ten business days of the visit, with a complete audit report to follow later in the year.
Treasurer staff said all pre-arrival requests have been completed and that they expect no delay in providing the auditors the materials they need; the treasurers will be present during the Feb. 11 visit and Selectboard members offered support for the audit day. The board plans to include the initial audit report as an insert, handout, or separate mailing rather than delaying the Town Report printing schedule.
