Fred Clark, speaking for the trustees, presented Construct’s revised quarterly report and the invoice and asked, “Can I get a motion to, pay or approve the payment of this invoice?” Bill Cook moved the payment and Peter Most seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with Bill Cook, Peter Most, Joseph Method and Fred Clark voting in favor.
Clark told trustees Construct has funded 10 assists in Great Barrington totaling $13,120 and that the Trust has spent $47,149 of its original $50,000 allocation for the program, leaving $2,851. Clark said the average assist is a little over $1,000 and that the funds are generally used to prevent evictions for households in extreme circumstances. Trustees did not add conditions to the payment and treated the action as routine approval of the quarterly invoice.
