Council adopts updated Newberg Library internet policy

Library Director Cori Burkel presented an updated Internet policy and asked council to adopt it following review by legal counsel and the Library Advisory Board. Burkel said the advisory board had approved the policy prior to small legal edits and that the policy will return to the advisory board in September for further review.
A council member described the policy as "very common sense and reasonable." A motion to adopt Resolution 2026‑4043 passed unanimously by voice vote.
