Some commissioners say PUD draft arrived too late for full review; staff says edits can be incorporated

Commission discussion on July 22 included procedural concerns about the timing of a 25‑page PUD draft. One commissioner said the document arrived about six hours before the meeting and that most commissioners "have to work for a living" and therefore did not have sufficient time to review a 25‑page legal document.

Reardon acknowledged the late distribution, said the plan commission had received a draft and that the RDC could amend the ordinance before the Tuesday plan commission hearing. Commissioners agreed staff would attempt additional between‑meeting consultations if South Shore proposes substantive edits to the switching agreement or if members needed more time on the PUD draft.
