The Town of Isle La Motte Selectboard met in a special session on Jan. 29, 2025, to continue work on the town budget. According to the meeting minutes prepared by Selectboard Clerk Debra Langlois, the board and treasurers "worked diligently on the budget line by line," identifying several updates and changes that will require additional review before the budget can be finalized. The Selectboard and treasurers set a follow-up Special Meeting for Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM to confirm those final adjustments. No formal budget vote occurred on Jan. 29; the outcome is pending the follow-up meeting.
