The City of Larned Council on Jan. 5 approved Appropriation Ordinance #12 in the amount of $1,582,632.63, authorizing payments and transfers listed on the financial report. Finance Director Monica Steiner reported the appropriations and noted the package includes funds for a fire truck purchase and a check to the Morgan Wright Foundation routed through Golden Belt Community Foundation.
Councilmember Kim Barnes moved to approve the ordinance and Councilmember Terry Clark seconded; the motion carried. Barnes also noted that transfers were made from the electric reserve to the general fund to cover some expenditures. No individual roll-call vote totals were recorded in the minutes.
