Commissioners questioned whether the quoted price included full outfitting; one commissioner asked if the $86,868 covered cages and equipment and staff confirmed it did. The manager said procurement would be completed through a cooperative source‑well contract and that the appropriation will be presented on the formal commission agenda for approval.
No formal vote was taken at the agenda study; the item will appear on Monday's commission agenda for action.
