Board members returned to unfinished business to discuss a revised organizational chart that administration had included in a Friday packet. Several members said receiving the chart only in the packet did not allow time for deliberation: "When it's in a Friday packet, there's obviously no room for discussion there," one committee member said, urging a fuller presentation at a meeting so the board can "revisit" prior table discussions.
The superintendent described which positions were being evaluated this year—direct reports, directors and principals with contracts up for renewal—and said some evaluation responsibility would be shared with other administrators. Administration agreed to bring the org charts to the personnel or policy committee and to prepare an approval path, with a plan to bring updates to the board in August and September as needed.
