Planning commission chair thanks trustees for attending visioning session, notes low public turnout

Dave Krauth, chair of the planning commission, told the board he appreciated trustees attending a recent visioning workshop at the campus center but said he was disappointed by a small turnout from the public. "I just wanted to thank the mayor and the trustees that were able to attend our visioning and workshop... I also have to say that I am disappointed that we didn't have more representation," Krauth said.
Board members discussed attendance numbers: Krauth and others reported about 17 attendees plus the planning commission and noted only a handful of village residents participated. The brief exchange closed without action but the planning commission chair requested continued trustee engagement for future outreach.
