The Township Committee voted to adopt bond ordinance 12-68-26 on July 22, authorizing financing for reconstruction of the San Jeri sanitary sewer pump station.
Mayor Miller moved to adopt the bond ordinance and the motion was seconded and carried by roll call. The ordinance was introduced for first reading earlier and then adopted at this meeting; the clerk noted the ordinance will be considered for final reading and adoption at the August 26 meeting in accordance with statutory notice requirements.
The ordinance was presented as a capital project to replace critical sewer infrastructure; the committee took no amendments on the floor and adopted the measure by roll call vote.
