Board authorizes flexible student release for state basketball travel

The presenting staff member outlined recent changes in site assignments and game times and said officials had shifted many game start times by roughly 30 minutes; the board discussed logistics and agreed the superintendent should have discretion to adjust school dismissal times for qualifying teams.
"I'd like to make a motion to allow mister Hassong to flex the schedule for students, based on the state basketball tournament results," the Chair said; trustees approved the motion by voice vote.
