Fourth-grade teacher Lori Sawyer to retire at end of school year, board says

Emily said Sawyer has served 40 years in the profession and 35 years at the West Bath school. Board members expressed appreciation for Sawyer's long service and agreed the district will honor and celebrate her in the spring when she prefers to make a public recognition.
