City to seek sign cost estimates as rec center is rebranded

Councilors asked about the timetable for changing the rec center signage as part of a rebranding effort. Rocky told council Aaron has arranged a meeting with a sign company next week to get cost estimates for replacing the plaque and digital sign at the rec center.
"Aaron actually just invited me to a meeting, I believe it's next week, with a sign company to start getting the numbers on what a new sign is gonna cost us to replace the old sign on the front of the rec center," Rocky said. Rocky also noted the city is waiting to replace the digital sign until the name change is confirmed so the digital replacement will not be done twice.
Staff will report back with cost estimates following the sign-company meeting and coordinate the sign replacement with the rebranding schedule.
