The Yorktown Community Schools board approved bids to seal portions of Yorktown High School parking lots, accepting the sealing quotes recommended by the superintendent.
"I would request approval of the sealing quotes from Sim's Sealing," the superintendent said, explaining the district typically seals half of its lots every other year and that North Campus had been delayed because of construction. Board member Mister Brooks made a motion to approve and Tom seconded; the board approved the motion by voice vote (3–0).
The superintendent noted the size of the quotes requires board approval and said staff will coordinate scheduling and payment through the district’s construction manager.
