Staff explained smaller projects in the corridor (one sidewalk segment estimated at $66,000) were bundled to meet the grant minimum and said the grant round for 2026 waives the matching requirement; next year a 30% match may be required.
The package also includes converting a Blue Course sidewalk segment into a bike path and ADA upgrades for bus stops in coordination with CATA. Board members expressed support for multimodal projects and accessibility improvements. The manager called roll and the resolution authorizing submission was approved.
