During the town manager update, staff reported progress on water and wastewater projects and said a DOLA grant for SCADA work was approved tentatively but not yet finalized. Staff also said they will attend a public hearing in Eaton on tank‑coating in the first part of March and described an upcoming rehab of an apartment at White River Village.
"The Dola grants for the, SCADA was approved, but not officially," the town manager said, and added that staff will attend the Eaton hearing with partners to address tank coating. The manager explained the White River Village rehab will take time before the unit is ready for occupancy and noted the project may rely on federal grant stipulations and RD/RDC committee review.
Council members asked follow‑ups about grant extensions, competitive bid interest for river grant work, and retirement account accounting; staff said they will forward detailed answers and follow up as needed.
