Supervisors adjust mileage rate, adopt fixed-asset policy and approve quarterly reports

The Board of Supervisors voted July 20 to change several administrative policies and accept routine reports. On motion by Supervisor Cerwinske, seconded by Supervisor Suckow, the board adjusted the per-mile reimbursement rate from $0.725 to $0.73 effective August 1, 2026; the roll call recorded Breitbach as the sole nay and the motion carried.
The board also adopted Resolution No. 07-20-26-46 to change the Fixed Asset (Vehicles/Equipment) Capitalization Policy (motion by Cerwinske, seconded by Suckow) and approved the Treasurer's semiannual report for the period ending June 30, 2026 (to be published July 23 and July 24 in local papers). Quarterly reports for EMS and Veterans Service ending June 30, 2026 were approved as well. The meeting adjourned at 11:27 AM.
