Near the end of the Dec. 16 meeting Councilmember Lyon moved to adopt Resolution 2025-237 to authorize an executive session under the Open Public Meetings Act to discuss contract negotiations (tank painting and restoration project; Communications Workers of America negotiations) and acquisition of public property. The motion passed; council entered closed session and later reconvened with no action taken.
After the closed session Councilmember Jeney moved to end the closed session and reopen the meeting; the motion passed and the meeting was adjourned. No votes or agreements arising from the closed session were recorded in open session.
