Green Team Repair Café, Halloween shop, rabies clinic and veterans dinner among upcoming Delran events

The meeting included a series of community notices from committee leaders and administrative staff. Deb Hammond of the Green Team reported that a Repair Café was held Sept. 21 and announced a free Halloween Shop on Oct. 4 at the Municipal Building (10 a.m.–1 p.m.) where children can try on costumes and take one home; a costume donation bin is located in the municipal lobby. Hammond also announced a themed night hike at Lake Lonnie on Oct. 4 with a bonfire and s’mores.
Administrator and Municipal Clerk Jamey Eggers provided service announcements: Clean Communities drop‑off days are scheduled Oct. 15–18 (hours vary), with a shredding event on Oct. 18 (8–11 a.m.), a free rabies vaccine clinic Nov. 1 (1–3 p.m.), and a veterans appreciation dinner organized by Feeding Our Heroes and Senator Singleton’s office on Oct. 22 (3–6 p.m.) at the VFW. Eggers also said the Township will begin issuing a monthly newsletter on the first of each month starting Oct. 1.
