Stewart Avenue contracts, Vermes Field lights and fall clean-up dates among Delran project updates

Township staff reported Stewart Avenue contract awards and pre-construction activity, Vermes Field pre-construction with light lead times of 12–16 weeks, Greenwood Avenue meeting scheduled, and Public Works clean-up days set for Oct. 15–18.
Administrator/Clerk Jamey Eggers told council that contracts were awarded for the Stewart Avenue project and that a resident meeting will be scheduled closer to the start of work. Ms. Eggers said the contractor has installed pipe up to 212 Leon Avenue, manholes have new castings, asphalt repair is complete and PSE&G repaired a gas service break.
Ms. Eggers said a pre-construction meeting for the Vermes Field project was held and contracts are being executed; the lead time for the lights is 12–16 weeks once the order is placed. She also noted a pre-construction meeting for Greenwood Avenue scheduled the following day and announced Public Works clean-up days from October 15–18.
The council did not take additional votes on these items during the meeting; staff said they will provide further scheduling and resident-notification details as projects progress.
