Engineer Salvatore D’Armiento told the council that three grant extensions involving the Delran Community Park bike path and two sidewalk projects are being coordinated with the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the County. He said the civil design work for a separate Army Corps flood control project is continuing and that hydraulic modeling will resume the week of Oct. 1.
D’Armiento also said a preconstruction meeting will be scheduled for Stewart Avenue Phase II and that bids for the 2025 Road Program were received; he said a recommendation for award will be forthcoming. The updates reflected ongoing coordination between Township engineering staff, the DOT, and county partners on pedestrian, bike path, and sidewalk improvements.
