At the Sept. 23 work session the Township Council moved and approved a consent agenda that bundled a range of routine and administrative measures. The package included Resolution 2025‑161 to purchase two 2026 police interceptor utility vehicles under state contract and Resolution 2025‑162 for upfitting police vehicles. It also included Resolution 2025‑173 authorizing an emergency procurement for repairs to a Jetter truck used by the sewer department after an employee had an accident that extensively damaged the vehicle; officials said the JIF (Joint Insurance Fund) has reimbursed a significant portion of that repair bill.
Council also approved several NJDOT-related items requesting approval to submit additional award extension requests for multiple projects, including Route 130 & Chester Avenue pedestrian safety improvements and phases of the Delran Community Park bike path, as well as other administrative resolutions such as refunding tax overpayments and authorizing TD Bank account signatories. Mr. Smith moved adoption and Mrs. Apeadu seconded; roll call was Mr. Morrow, Mrs. Apeadu, Mr. Smith and Mr. Lyon voting aye (Ayes: 4; Nays: none).
