Delran approves consent agenda: $258,000 CCTV contract, plant upgrades and multiple MOAs

At its Dec. 16 meeting the Delran Township Council adopted a consent agenda that bundled multiple procurement contracts, equipment purchases and personnel memoranda of agreement.
Key items listed in the consent agenda included: Resolution 2025-216 awarding a sanitary sewer CCTV inspection contract to Vortex Services, LLC for $258,000; Resolution 2025-217 awarding an anoxic mixer replacement to Municipal Maintenance Co. for $259,431; Resolution 2025-218 to purchase a Trojan UV system; and Resolution 2025-219 authorizing disk filter purchase and installation from Veolia Water Technologies for the sewer plant. The agenda also ratified memoranda of agreement with Communications Workers of America Local 1036, the Delran Patrolman’s Association, the Delran Sergeant’s Association, the Police Chief and the Police Captain addressing calculation of compensation for the 2026 27-pay year.
Councilmember Jeney moved to adopt the Consent Agenda, seconded by Councilmember Smith; the roll call vote was unanimous. The consent agenda also included approvals for a donated motor vehicle, year-end transfers and authorizations for capital fund cancellations and purchasing under cooperative agreements.
