Murray resident says City Journal distribution is "propaganda"

Murray resident Samantha Chetta used the citizen comment slot to call attention to a recurring letter carried in the City Journal. She said versions of the same letter had been distributed across several Salt Lake County cities and that the signed name in the piece, "John Jay Walker," is a pseudonym: "This letter ... is spreading propaganda and hurting my family," Chetta said.
Chetta said she is part of the LGBT community and that the content affected her family. She asked the council to be aware that the item is archived online and distributed broadly and said she found similar mailings in Taylorsville, Mill Creek and Draper.
