Board approves agenda; interim superintendent reports regular superintendent is home from hospital

At the start of the regular meeting the board moved, seconded and approved the meeting agenda by voice vote. A motion to approve the agenda was made and the chair called for ayes; the board recorded unanimous vocal assent.
Interim Superintendent Jack Anderson later gave a brief operational update. He said Pete, the district's regular superintendent, "is now home from the hospital" and that Pete got home the previous night at about 5:30 a.m. Anderson reported that Pete was recovering and had the "best night's sleep" since his hospitalization, per comments from Pete's wife.
The meeting then proceeded to new business items, including the policy review and grant acceptance, before the board recessed into executive session.
