Board moves into executive session under RCW to discuss public-employee performance

The board announced it would adjourn into executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) for up to 30 minutes to discuss the performance of a public employee and said business would follow after the session.
Near the end of the meeting the board chair announced the board would go into executive session under state law to discuss the performance of a public employee. The chair cited RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) and set the session to not exceed 30 minutes.
"We will move into executive session pursuant to RCW 42 dot 30 dot 1 10, section 1 g performance of a public employee, not to exceed 30 minutes, and we will have business to follow," the chair said. The board then recessed for the executive session and indicated further business would continue after the closed session according to the agenda.
