Selectboard approves Loretta's donation of sick time to officer

During public comment Loretta asked permission to donate sick time to help a colleague recovering from surgery. "I would like to donate no more than 80 hours of my sick time to Oscar," she said, explaining that Officer Gardner had surgery and remains out of work.
The chair confirmed the town policy allows donations to the sick bank and made a motion authorizing Loretta to donate up to 80 hours; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Board members offered well wishes to Loretta and thanked her for the gesture.
