The Bristow City Council opened a public hearing and then adopted Revised Budget #1 for fiscal year 2024–25 on May 19.
Treasurer Ashley Hinshaw told the council that lower‑than‑predicted sales tax receipts required adjustments across departments. Councilmember Judd Johns referenced earlier concerns about the sales tax estimate when the budget was first prepared. After closing the public hearing (motion by Johns, second by Roberts), the council adopted the revised budget by roll call (Resolution R1433‑051925).
