The Bristow City Council approved revised employee contribution rates for health insurance effective July 1, 2025, and included a non‑tobacco/vape incentive that reduces employee costs for participating staff. The contribution schedule lists specific monthly amounts for Employee Only, Employee‑Spouse, Employee‑Children and Family tiers and a lower rate where employees participate in the tobacco‑free incentive.
Councilmember Heather Green moved the adoption (seconded by Joe Church); the roll call vote was unanimous. The council directed Human Resources to apply the reduced rates for employees who enroll in and meet the non‑tobacco criteria.
