Council accepts easement dedications tied to Zimmerman replat at Hillcrest Road East

The Planning Commission unanimously approved the replat in February. The replat combines multiple lots to allow the homeowners' planned construction without requiring a variance except for a minor setback that was already addressed; as part of the approval the homeowners dedicated easements to the city. Councilmember Mike Pasley moved that the council accept the easements for Quivira West Side District lots 256–258 and lots 350–353; Councilmember Julie Kurland seconded. Councilmember Tray Vedock abstained from the vote; the motion carried with a 2-0 tally recorded.
The council did not record additional conditions beyond acceptance of the dedications; staff will record the plat and related easement documents as required by the city's platting procedures.
