Goodman also summarized emergency services performance, saying the volunteer Mamakating ambulance responded to about 130 calls this month and has been handling 100% of its primary calls for several years. "So your tax money is being well spent," he said, commending squad volunteers. Committee members and residents echoed thanks to volunteers and organizers, and the town clerk announced a new county composting program accepting food scraps at local transfer stations.
The board used the reports to note ongoing projects and to point residents toward upcoming events and programs. No board actions were required beyond informational updates.
