Delran emergency services and community groups report activity; Fall Festival and clean‑up events scheduled

Green Team member Deb Hammond said the 7th annual Halloween Shop returned 185 costumes to residents, "diverting 132 pounds of material from the landfill," and noted ongoing collection bins for future donations.
Administrator Eggers and Recreation Advisory Committee member Patricia Griffith announced an upcoming Fall Festival on Oct. 19 at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy, Fall Clean‑up Days Oct. 15–18 with a paper‑shredding event on Oct. 18, and a free rabies clinic on Nov. 1 at the municipal pole barn. Eggers also described resident meetings and timelines for Greenwood Avenue and Stewart Avenue improvement projects and said residents in affected neighborhoods will receive notifications and meetings in late October and early November.
