Chair Hassida called the meeting to order at 10:02AM: "It is 10:02AM, and I am calling this meeting of the Agricultural Labor Relations Board to order," and took roll, confirming a quorum including Board members Broad and Lightstone. The board approved the minutes from its June 10, 2026 meeting after a motion and second; ayes were recorded and the minutes were adopted.
Executive Secretary Santiago Villal Gomez delivered the executive officer's report, outlining election activity, six new complaints, two withdrawn complaints, three administrative orders and a recent board decision with an appeal deadline. Santiago closed his report by saying, "That concludes my report. Happy to answer any questions." The board took no public comment, recessed into closed session, returned at 11:58AM and scheduled a further meeting for July 29 at 10AM in Sacramento and via Zoom.
