The Personnel & Administration Committee voted July 23 to close portions of its meeting under the sections read on the public record (quoted as "6 10 dot 0 2 1 3 and section 6 10 dot 0 2 2") so members could discuss personnel matters related to hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting employees. The clerk called the roll and the motion carried with five aye votes.
Director Gracia raised a technical concern before the committee moved into closed session: she said she had received a pop-up showing the meeting was being transcribed and asked STLTV/captioning staff to ensure any live transcription or captioning was turned off for the closed portion of the meeting. The chair then instructed STLTV to place the committee in closed session.
